‘Russian nuclear-powered cruiser to return to fleet in 2022’

Russia plans to return the Kirov-class (Project 1144) nuclear-powered guided-missile cruiser Admiral Nakhimov to frontline service in 2022 after more than 20 years being laid up at Sevmash shipyard in Severodvinsk.
According to Russian deputy defence minister Alexsey Krivoruchko, Admiral Nakhimov is on target to complete its overhaul and modernisation by the new date.
