US Space Force lanceert Atlas V raket met X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (video’s)

Atlas V launches OTV-6 (USSF-7)
A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V 501 rocket launched the USSF-7 mission for the U.S. Space Force, the sixth flight of the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV-6), from Space Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on 17 May 2020, at 13:14 UTC (09:14 EDT). Built by Boeing, the X-37B spaceplane is a reusable unmanned spacecraft (Boeing X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle explained https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IxWD9… ). The mission was the 84th for an Atlas V launch vehicle and the 7th in the 501 configuration.

Boeing X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV) is a reusable unmanned spacecraft build for the U.S. Air Force. Managed by the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office, the X-37B program is the newest and most advanced re-entry spacecraft that performs risk reduction, experimentation and concept of operations development for reusable space vehicle technologies.
